Third drawing in my "born" series.
I had huge plans for this piece and I am very happy to say that I managed to stay true to my original idea. The only thing that didn't come out the way it was supposed to was the background. As always. I suck at them, so there. At least I tried to add something, and I do think that the background adds a different feel, compared to if there had been none. I am very pleased with the hair, the anatomy and the color scheme. I did my utmost at hands and feet and I think it paid off. I had no reference what-so-ever. This was done in Painter IX while listening to Chrono Symphonic. I used 8 layers and it took me around 5 hours to complete. Whew. Now I'm kinda tired. I really hope you'll like it!!!! (And if you can't tell, that's a sprout in his hand, sprinkling life over the earth.) Edit: I have added a closeup of the face. |
