This is my original character Mannon, whom I created in 2000. She has changed quite a bit from her original form, so to speak, she has a much nicer expression to begin with.
 Her outfit has changed a bit too, but the main items are still there, like the cape, the belt and the jewelry on her forehead.I found a sketch from 2005, that I thought had potential, and I wanted to see what would come out of it. Well, I have to say that I am extremely proud of this drawing. Not perfect, nothing can ever be, but I'm developing!!!!  Those of you who have seen my drawings before, know that I rarely do any elaborate backgrounds. Well, before you, you see the first background that I've ever spent hours on! I am so darn proud of myself I might cry!  Scanned sketch into Painter IX, used my Wacom Intuos 3 as usual. 5 hours spent and 17 (new record!) layers used. I really, really, really hope that you will like this one, because, I really love it myself. Just the feeling of it all, it comes together nicely, doesn't it?  Wow, now I need to take a breather. I'm shaking like mad. O_o |
